The Boutros Ghali Shield (BGS) puts teams of two students from years 10-12 in the shoes of Ambassadors to the United Nations Security Council representing one of the Council's fifteen member nations. Teams will develop their debating and negotiating skills through participation in a series of mock Security Council resolutions in an exciting day of intense and passionate debate! The top performing teams will have the opportunity to represent South Australia at the national competition, the Evatt Trophy, in Canberra this December.
